HOW TO UTILIZE FACIAL OILS ?

Last time in the Beauty Magazine, we looked into the differences between the Argan oil and Jojoba oil. There are a lot more facial oils in the market, though. Now we know that there are a lot different kinds of oils, we will look into how we can utilize these facial oils.
When people are asked about the facial oils, many of them respond that oil can be too heavy and sticky for the skin. However, facial oil can help you strike balance between the moisture in the derma and the oil, so using it well can lead to hydrated skin all winter around. For skin type with many troubles, it is better to go through a test use before starting to use it. For oily skin types, start with rather lighter and mild oil such as the Argan oil. Facial oils create protective shields for the skin, so you need something more to fill it under to make the skin more hydrated. Application of moisturizing cream before any facial oil can be quite effective. You can use the facial oil for other parts of your body too besides the face. Now here are some tips you can rely on when trying to use it on your body.

1. Mixing Cream with Balm
If oil alone cannot resolve extremely dry skin, mix balm with the cream to enhance the moisturizing effect. Mix them in the ratio of 1:1 and apply the mixture gently all over the skin. Apply it on the elbows and ankles that are overly dry.

2. Oil Facial Pack
Drop four to five drops of oil on the cosmetic cotton soaked with skin toner, apply the cotton on the dry parts of the face for ten to 20 minutes and take it off. It will offer velvety and hydrated skin.

3. Applying on Scalp and Hair
The hair and scalp get very dry and sensitive in the winter due to cold winds. Apply an adequate amount of oil to protect them. It will not only nourish but also moisturize your scalp and hair.

4. Applying on Lips
Apply the oil mixed with either cream or balm on the lips. In the winter, it is sometimes tricky to apply lipstick on the dry lips because it may generate dead skin cells. Put a drop of oil on the lip brush before applying the lipstick with it to alleviate dry dead skin cells on the lips.

5. Mixing with BB Cream and Foundation
I believe a lot of people already know about this tip. Apply one drop of oil in the BB cream and foundation that you took out from the container. Put just a right amount of oil to balance between the moisturizing effect and the coverage effect of the cosmetics.

6. Applying on the Fingernails
Apply the oil thinly over the cracked fingernails or dry skin around them. It will nourish as well as protect the fingernails with hydrating shield.
