The effects and structure of ultraviolet rays
Hi, How much do you know about the rays threatening our skin every day? In reality, the effects of ultraviolet rays on our skin are bigger than we thought. Alot of people actually ignore the importance of blocking ultraviolet rays. These rays can affect us even when we are indoors.
Ultraviolet rays are all around us. Our skin takes immediate effect when it encounters ultraviolet rays. UVA, UVB, UVC, these three combine to make UV. UV creates active oxygen, being the cause of skin aging and pigmentation.
There are much more effects, ultraviolet rays have on our skin, than what is widely known. UV rays meets our skin and makes the skin go dark. This phenomenon can be referred as a protective measure of our skin trying to trying to protect itself from the uv rays. If our skin encounters ultraviolet rays,
it produces melanin, which makes our skin go dark, to protect itself. In addition, the burning pain which comes from sunlight is actually a burn from ultraviolet rays. These phenomenons occur again and again which results in dead skin cells causing pain and infections. Also, uv rays have the same effects as our skin smoking. our skin ages and accumulates damage, the horny layer(stratum corneum) gets thicker, and parts of our skin will undergo pigmentation. However, these results do not occur in a short period of time, so we must be extra careful.
If you want to prevent skin aging or skin damage, you must be concerned about anti-ultraviolet actions as much as your cosmetics.
