Hi, this is INBELLO.
Does skin trouble occur or does your make-up doesn’t do much good even though your condition is good and it even isn’t your period? If so you should check the current state of your make-up tools before checking your skin or product. If you don't take care of your make-up tools everyday or every week at most, it can cause negative effects to your skin. For this reason, we are going to present to you how to manage your make-up tools.
Eyeliners & Lip brushes – These are products that bacteria can easily propagate and after just one use, brushes can go stiff. Lip brushes should be extra-cared for they can be stained with food remainders. Eyeliners can also cause eye infections, so they should always be washed several times frequently.
* How – After the use of brushes you should place some cleansers, specially made for brushes, onto some tissue and lightly clean the brush then dried. If you don’t have any cleansers, eye removers can be used instead. If you clean the brush once a week using neutral detergent, it can be used for a long time.
2. Powder & Blusher brushes
Since these are products that are powder type, it doesn’t renegerate bacteria as much as eyeliner brushes. However it doesn’t mean you can just leave it, you should avoid places with a lot of moisture and is recommended that it be cleaned once a week.
* How – Clean by using warm water containing brush cleanser. Fabric conditioners can also be used. After cleaning, push using a towel to get rid of all the water and then dry it in a shade.
3. Foundation Sponge
Because liquid foundation is, of course liquid, bacteria propagates quickly. Because of this, the sponge used to apply the foundation is also quick in bacteria regeneration, and since bacteria digs deep into the sponge, it is hard to clean completely.
* How- First, soak the sponge in warm water for about 5 minutes, after that put some cleanser onto the sponge then squeeze lightly again and again. If a part of the sponge goes stiff after cleaning, cut that bit off and use only the clean part.
4. Eyeshadow Tip
Eyeshadow tips must be in a clean state in order to express the best colour possible. For this reason, it is recommended to be cleaned once in a month in warm water.
* How- Place some neutral detergent onto a spoon, then use the spoon to clean the product. It the shadow tip goes flat or if there are remainders no matter how much you clean it, you should replace the product with a new one.
5. Eyelash Curler
Since the skin around the eyes are thin and sensitive, eyelash curlers should be in a clean state at all times. If you use a eyelash curler after make-up, the rubber of the curler will be smeared with mascara, eyeshadow, eyeliners and a lot of other products, which will prevent the eyelashes from getting a natural-looking curl.
* How- After the use of a eyelash curler, you should place some lip & eye removers onto a cotton ball and clean the rubber part of the curler and the surroundings of the rubber. Also if the rubber of the curler is too old, it should be replaced with a new one since it could cut your eyelashes.
